Newborn Clients

Two weeks ago my life changed forever with the arrival of my daughter, Summer Faye Ramsden.

I’ve been asked a few times by baby-free colleagues, “what’s it like to be a Dad?”

To which I reply, “it’s a lot like working on an exciting project with a new client.”

First there’s that exciting moment when you get them home, then you have to…

• learn what they want
• meet their needs
• be reactive
• learn when to say no
• put in some late nights, and some early starts.

It’s exhausting, but when you look back and see what you achieved, it’s all worth it.
